Do Anyone Know If There Is A DVD Player/Recorder That Rewinds Like A VHS Tape Recorder

Hello to all my computer techies out there, can anyone give me the scoop on this question. I know that Final Cut Pro has an effect like that, but I would like to cut out Apple and do the dirty work with my DVD recorder with a dvd player and NO I DONT WANT TO DO IT WITH A VHS PLAYER.

For playback, you can usually reverse the video playback in the DvD player software.

For video editing effects, that's done in the software as well.

There's no rewind feature needed at the hardware level for DvD or BluRay discs.
