I was playing League of Legends on my mother's work laptop 4 days ago. I couldn't remember the laptop model but it was Dell Latitude E6xxx. 2.53GHz core 2 duo, 4GB ram, Nvidia Quadro NVS 160M and running on win XP More than enough to play LoL on lowest setting. So today the laptop crashed and her it guy had to do data recovery. She said it was all because I played league on that laptop. I used to play League on my shitty pc that doesn't even meet the minimum requirements to play but it didn't crash. So could playing games have caused it to crash?

Not if you were not overclocking it in some way. Games would stress the hardware a lot more than regular use, but on it's own, they don't cause crashes. It's like taking a car to New York, having it break down and saying driving to New York breaks cars.

My thoughts exactly. Showed her a screen shot of this and she was convinced. Thanks
