Do I get the Google Home or the Amazon Echo?

My partner and I are discussing which one to get. They have an Amazon Prime Account so the reason they want the Echo is not only because of the discount, but most of their music and content is also worked through Amazon.

Personally, I'm leaning towards the Google Home because it supports multiple accounts, has better customization, and I think their search engine works a little better than the other one.

Which one should I get?
