Do I need Beacon Manager?

Can someone please tell me if I need the Beacon.Manager on my galaxy s5? I don't understand what it is, and if I don't need it, I'd rather uninstall it.

As far as I know you can't delete/uninstall it. The best I have found is it can be 'disabled'.

Ok. so then I don't need it so just disable it? It won't hurt.anything?

All these extra apps only consume memory and space of your mobile so disabling them will help your smartphone run smoother.
