docs.google.com menus are in german

I read somewhere to go here: https://myaccount.google.com/inputtools and select English as the only language, then checkmark synchronize dictionary, but that didn't work. How do I make it in English so I can understand the menus.

This is exactly what I did, but it doesn't work. Every Google site shows up in English except for Google Documents.

DNS won't cause this. There is an issue with something on the Google side. Have you contacted them?

EDIT: It's fixed now, maybe it took some time for my language changes to take place.
