Does 1 ohm really make a difference in speakers?

I want to try something with these speakers i have. I plan on hooking them up to a 3 way crossover however one of the speakers is 4 ohm and crossover min ohms is 5. Should I just find a new speaker or just hook it up anyways.

You can certainly connect the driver to the crossover. There are 2 buts though,
First the driver may not be matched in volume to the other two so if may play too loud, If there is a level control on that driver you can turn it down.
Second the impedance that the speaker systems shows to your amp will be lower so if it can't handle that the amp may blow a fuse, go into protection, or go boom.

If you plan on using this crossover, i would purchase an 8Ohm speaker, as this would be within the parameters of the rating. 5Ohms minimum. So 8 Ohms would be the one to match up with this crossover 100%. Obviously observing the RMS rating of the amp supplying the power!
