does a Olevia tv have a out put to hook up a recorder I can play CDs but can not record regular tv.

You need to put the recorder between the video source (cable box, antenna) and the HDTV. I can only report that my Olevia 232T does not have any outputs.

I am using a antenna and not a box, I kicked Dish to the curb last week for there constant raising prices, but thanks for your response. I have never seen a TV you could not record off of, they did not give this one much thought.

The TV has a coax antenna plug-in, but my Toshiba DVD recorder only has RCA in and out plugs, no place to connect an antenna, that is my problem, the TV has no out plugs to put In to the DVD, it is quite flustering not to be able to record regular TV.

You can split your antenna so you can feed your TV and one of these:
