Does adf.ly charge you any fees?

Hi all,

This seems like a pretty good way to make easy money, but only one problem: Seems too good to be true... Is there some catch behind it, like a hidden registration fee or a membership fee, or any fee at all? Because if your only going to me making money and not paying any, well then thats good. I just wanna make sure I'm not gonna get hit by any hidden fees...

you have to pay for them to put advertising link on your site before you have an ad link to start earning money.

the previous answer is wrong, you don't need to pay them out for advertising to earn money, and that links is for when you want to advertise with them

to earn money


1. Create an account with AdF.ly by clicking the Join button on http/adf.ly, make sure you select a Publisher account.

2. You will then need to check your email for our confirmation, please follow the instructions in the email.

3. Login to your new AdF.ly account.

4. Enter your favourite website in the big white box and click Shrink! Your first AdF.ly URL will be displayed and will look something like http/adf.ly/A

and when somebody click your short link, you will get paid, the rate are here http/adf.ly/rates.php

you will get paid every month, as long you earn a minimum of $5.00.

they pay you $4 for 100 click but only pay out if over $5, so in reality you need at least 2000 click to get any money. Well, if your webpage is long term, then it will give you tickle income anyway.

not really hard to gain thousand or ten thousand click if your links are popular, i just got more than 50$ in couple weeks just by uploading a bot for couple online games ( its a file hosting, so not adfly, but its pretty much the same rate as them)

50$ isn't bad considering it only take couple hours of my time

So just to confirm, I WONT get any charges, whatsoever. Even if forsay I get like only 1 click on my URL in a month for some reason. And so they only pay you if you get 100 clicks in a month? Like as in if I only get 90 I get nothing that month, but if I get 100 the next I get something? Also, just one other question. Is the amount of clicks counted just per URL (I have to get 100 clicks on a certain one to get paid) or does it work with multiple (that are yours). Ex: I have 3 URL's. In a month, the first gets 80 views, the second gets 15, and the third gets 5. Will I get paid? Or does it have to be 100 on one... JW

No charge whatsoever, 100 click will only get about 0,4$, 1000 click = 4$ ( depending on the country the person live (the one who clicked your links), see the rate here http/adf.ly/rates.php )

it total all the link views, so it count per 1 click (1000/rates), example 1000 click is 4 dollar
link 1 you get 100click (4$/1000 =0,004) so 100 click = 0,4$
link 2 you get 1000 click = 4$

then you only get 4,4$ which mean you need to wait until it reach 5$ to withdraw the money (as the minimum to withdraw is 5$), if then say you add link 3, and the next month it has 1000click then your total would be 8,4$, which then you can withdraw the money.

basically they got the money from ads, which x company/advertiser that put the ads has to pay, in this case the pay a lot more than 4$ per 1000 view, and when your short url your link with adf.ly, the person who clicked your url will then first get redirected to adf.ly site first, which show the ads from one or more advertising company, and that mean adf.ly get payed and you as the publisher also get payed.

just remember that this will not make you instant rich

Haha thx. Yea ik its not gonna make me instant rich but its somethin, i post a lot of dl links, so at least it'll make me something...
