Does my laptop support a 144hz monitor?

I have an asus vivobook pro 15 n580gd with a gtx 1050 and a i7 8th generation. Does my laptop support a 144hz monitor?

The question is asked backwards. The question should be does the monitor support your laptop. It doesn't matter how many hz the monitor can do, if it follows the HDMI/DIV/DisplayPort/VGA standards and provide the connectors, and your laptop has those connectors then they should work.

If the question is if the laptop can provide signal at 144hz and actually produce 144fps to match... well that depends a lot on the context. For web browsing the gtx1050 is speced to do do 144hz and more. See the full specs at:

If you are talking games, then no and hell no especially at higher resolution and higher in game quality.
