does not recognise battery

Battery won't charge on Aspire one D257-13404.....It recognises battery but won't charge....the charge indicator light is on and red......3 battery in 3 months......I followed new battery instructions .....I did not remove battery while computer is charging......I did not remove battery while computer is on......I never dropped computer......I never left out in the sun.......I never got the computer wet......I bought the computer new and have had it for a year.....
The computer did charge a new battery a couple times and then would charge it again.......I bought another battery and it did the same thing........I only leave the computer plugged into the ac when I use it which is 2 or 3 hours a week......thanks ...john

then proably the voltage regulators thet provide power to the batterry are damadged.
bying another battery wont make a diference.contct your dealer or send it for rma if under warranty.if not take it to a specialist .
