Does Not working Matshita DVDRAM UJ8B1AS

Hi, my lenovo G570 laptop has a Matshita DVDRAM UJ8B1AS drive, it wont read any disc that is inserted,it starts to spin but nothing else. It doesn't show in My Computer either. Do i need to re- install the driver, if so where do i get it from?

Should not a driver. The drive probably just went south.
