Dolby digital in sound bar

My TV is Dolby supported and sound bar don't.....can i get the same Dolby digital sound through sound bar?

What TV do you have? Dolby requires multiple speakers, IIRC - so it's much more common for soundbars to support it, opposed to TV's.

My TV is Panasonic 43ex480dx which support both Dolby and DTS and my question is... is it must and should that both sound bar and TV support Dolby to enjoy Dolby sound

I understand the question, just wanted to confirm the TV you had.

It's my understanding that the "final" device in the chain has to support it.
So, you could have a TV that does not, but a soundbar that does.... and have Dolby.

BUT, if your soundbar does not (and ultimately, that's where the sound is coming from), then you cannot.
