A little different post for the holidays, apart from your daily "Help! TV without remote>"
So for a specific reason I just got my first 4K TV. I didn't need it. I was more than happy with my 1080 and 5.1, don't need no atmos, 9.2, 11.4 blah-blah. They ain't getting me$$ I say.
Got myself this "budget" but "best buy" TCL 6 (QA risk involved) and... the difference is AMAZING! is not just the higher resolution but the extra brightness makes the video more life-like and realistic.
Am fond to say I can't tell the difference between vine-in-a-bag and a Dom Perignon, but I certainly can tell the diff between my old 1080 edge-lit and now my 4K FALD, and dang it, now I can't go back. I JUST CAN'T
