Hi all-

I just wanted to double check that I'll be able to run Microsoft Flight Simulator X on my PC before I buy it. The minimum hardware requirements are listed here, but the one I'm looking for is the graphics requirement. I'm running onboard graphics on my i5-4670K and so far it seems that it's fine. Thanks!

The requirements list seems quaint. But it was created long time ago.
The integrated graphics of the 4670K should functionally do the job. The cpu horsepower is certainly there.

Go ahead and buy the program and try it.
The 7950GX2 mentioned as a strong card is barely better than HD4000 integrated graphics.
I think you will probably want a stronger graphics card.
a $70 graphics card is the minimum considered as a gaming card today

Alright, thanks for the help. I just ordered it today, and I'll post the results when I get it. I'm also planning on getting either a 770 or an R9 290 around Christmas, so I'll have the horsepower soon.
