Touch pad double click with the left button is not working, Toshiba p755-s5320. A USB mouse works correctly. The touch pad does not. You can click on something one time and it works like it is supposed to. But to open a folder or a file that requires double clicking it will not work. It is almost as if double click has been disabled.
It is not the click rate is has been set all over and is now in the middle.
It can not be the button because single click works.
I have also changed it to right click and the double click will not work on the right button either
It has been upgraded to windows 10.
I have checked all the settings - deleted the drivers and let it reload - same thing.
I have downloaded the driver directly for Toshiba and it has the same problem.
I recovered Windows and told it to delete files and settings.
In order to open anything I have to double tap the pad which I hate.
Is the a registry setting to enable and disable double click?
Any Ideas.

Click Start and then Control Panel.
Select Classic View from the left side of the window.
Double-click the Mouse icon and, then, select the Device settings tab.
Click the Settings button and, then, Tapping .
Select the Enable tapping check box and click OK .
