After you have upgraded your Windows 7 computer to Windows 8, there might be instances when you find that new operating system incompatible with some of your installed applications. In order to make such applications work, you'll have to obtain newer, compatible versions, or downgrade your computer back to Windows 7.
Before downgrading from Windows 8 to Windows 7, it is important that you understand and confirm if you have sufficient rights to perform the task. You can go through the details here to get detailed information about your downgrading rights.
Note: Downgrading from Windows 8 to Windows 7 is nothing but erasing Windows 8 from your hard drive, and doing a clean install of Windows 7 on your computer (of course after confirming with Microsoft that you have appropriate rights to do so).
