Solved! Downgrade to xp from windows 7

my e series vaio is not allowing me to downgrade to XP from windows 7. I used the floppy drive for sata drivers and the dvd drive for xp installation. what do i do

You'll have to do a custom install with the xp disk, i.e. you'll have to format the hard drive and then install XP. Be sure that you have everything backed up before proceeding.
