Downgrading my laptop to windows7.

Sir I have bought a laptop hp ay-003 tx. I was installing a PLC software "Simatic Step S7". It was saying it requires a windows 7 OS. But my laptop has original windows 10. So can you tell me how to solve this ?

First, see this for Windows 10 and that software:

If is still does not work, you'd have to purchase Win 7 and install it. There is no automatic downgrade.

The downside of installing Windows 7 is that the laptop manufacturer will likely not have drivers for the many integrated devices like bluetooth and WiFi for that OS. Windows 7 will have some specific brand hardware drivers and generic drivers, but they will likely not be compatible with more modern hardware.

1. Find the .exe, get the Property on it, and see if there is a W7 compatibility check box u can use.

2. Run A Virtual Machine.
