Download DirectTV shows to SD Card?

Can I make the DirecTV app download shows to my SD Card? Phones and tablets usually have limited internal storage. Seems really silly to not allow the option to store downloaded shows on my SD card. Anyone know how to do this. I looked the DirectTV app and there is no option to specify the location of downloaded context nor is there an option to move the app to external storage.

As far as I know you cannot download them directly to the card. This is a limitation from the company (DirectTV) which most have something like this for their downloadable movies, shows, etc. It is to keep them from being distributed/shared.
