Downloading Kodi on Sharp Aquos 2018 model

I keep trying to download Kodi onto my Sharp 2018 Aquos and keep getting a -501 error. I tried several times after turning off the verify apps from unknown sources button. I have also tried plugging in my Amazon Fire Stick 4k and I get a green screen, does Fire stick not work with smart tvs?

If you try to install Kodi onto the TV you are likely to kill the TV functions. Firestick should work with any TV with HDMI. is your TV a 4k one? Did you check with Amazon support?

The TV is 4k and so its the stick, both brand new. But when I plug in Fire stick I get a green screen and thats it. Fore stick works fine on all kinds of other TVs Ive used in hotels many times.

Last time I got a green screen that was really distorted (so not just a blank green screen, it was basically green static) was when I tried to play a 4k Video of Amazon Prime on my TV.

Are you getting just a blank green screen or is it distorted? Try another HDMI input?

Yup tried all of them, plain green screen no distortion, I may have to contact amazon and sharp
