Solved! Question: Pairing duplicate TVs

I purchased two Sharp 65" Class 4K Ultra... TVs. I hung them side-by-side on the wall. I thought I could use a remote for one and Amazon Fire Cube for the other. But any controller I use turns both on and off at the same time. Any suggestions for creating distinct remote pairings?

The Fire Cube is operating the TV with its' remote extender. That is a wide range IR emitter which is reaching both TVs. I think you can replace that emitter with one that will attach to the TV IR receiver.

You can then block that completely with black tape so it doesn't receive the IR signal from the remote for the other TV.
If the Sharp TVs have a phone app to control them then you could use that for one TV and the Cube for the other by blocking the IR receiver in the TV you control with the app. The app would work over wifi so it won't be affected.
