Downloading Pictures to my camera

Have a Canon EOS 20D. I have downloaded my pictures many times from the camera to my laptop with the cord and software. I am now trying to do it and continue getting a busy signal on my camera and I can not get the pictures to download. Any ideas????

Take the SD card out and read it with an adapter/card reader. Can you view the pictures in the camera? If not, the file system on the card might be damaged.

I can see the pictures on the camera, I just can't get them to my camera. How much are the card readers?

I see the cheapest at around $2. Check the manual of you laptop first. Most newer laptops have them build in.

You could select one from based on your own conditions.
Or, you also borrow one from your friend or other persons.
