Okay, I was a bit daft and dropped my laptop (Samsung NP700G7C). After the initial devastation and it not working at all, I had a poke around, and it turned out the hard drive had been damaged somehow. So I replaced this, installed my OS and away I went. I even managed to downgrade to windows 7, which was a bit of a bonus. Every cloud.
So it worked fine for a little while, but more recently (Maybe a month since the drop) it's started to have serious overheating issues when running games. It starts fine, running at a steady 60 fps for a few minutes, then slowly dropping to around the 20 mark. For some reason, removing and plugging in the charger stops this for a little while (maybe 30 seconds to a minute), so I get full fps for a little while every time I plug it back in. Its a little bit crap having my shiny £1k laptop and having to run everything in minimal settings to make it playable
Any ideas what the issue could be/where I should be looking?
