Hey guys, ive got to replace a couple parts from my 3 year old beyerdynamic dt880s (the cushions, ear foam, and cable) and decided to take a look at the pricing from beyerdynamics website which is pretty reasonable and i know its original parts.
I noticed i could get replacement drivers too and was just curious if I could replace my original dt880 drivers with the dt990s given how similar the headphones are to eachother. Apparently the 990s have better base and im not getting much from my 880s, maybe cause im just used to it, but i like my bass. But ya, could i replace my 880 drivers with the 990s? Thanks
