Those were the exact ones I had xD. The issue is that they normally die within a year for me although I don't do anything crazy with them. Just casually listen to music in school.
I've had mine for ~8 years now (slightly older model) and still perfect (had to replace tips, but that's it). Any earphones you get will be destroyed quickly if yours only last a year, so rather than spending a ton of money on a good set, buy the same ones and a proper carry case to minimize damage
ALL in-ear devices are by nature noise isolating. If you liked the sonys you had, how about the Sony MDR-XB50AP with noise isolation tips? They are pretty damn cheap and should last you a few years
