DVarchive and TV Guide

Hi,

Is any experiencing problem with DVarchive and the TV Guide
feature? I am in the SF Bay Area and for reason this app
no longer can get the info from the provider. I am getting
the following when attempting to get the info:

ERROR: Error while updating TV Listings -- 529

Just did an update and it worked fine.

I've been having problems getting TV listings for a few weeks now. Tonight
I tried to refresh the provider list and get error 288. It worked
flawlessly for quite a while, now nada. :-(

exit dvarchive and delete the DVA_TV.xml file.

This should reset the TV guide and allow reconnection. I was receiving data
fine and got the same error -506.

Once the file was deleted all worked well again.

I've had to do that a couple of times. There seems to be gomething in
the guides (the data, not DVA itself) that causes corruption. It might
be duplicate channel numbers (likely with DirecTV and Dish).

Deleting that file and re-starting DVArchive did the trick.

same problem in Ny area only I get update complete but no listings
downloaded

I had that problem once recently. I never found out why (although I
suspect there was an unexpected error in the listings, not DVA). I
just deleted the file DVA TV.XML and restarted.
