Try it (note that you'd need a crossover cable, don't ignore the
connection LEDs). It used to be that the Replay would refuse to use an
ethernet connection unless it could access the internet that way, but
that could have been changed at any time (Replay software update).
The hub is needed when you connect 3 devices togenher (Replay,
computer, router). Of course, "hub" can be one built-in to the router.
As to "router", you may be a ble to get software ICS to work, but a
hardware router is better.

BTW, some news programs will not quote sigs, if preceded by the
standard sig seperator, thats "-- " (TWO hyphens followed by a space,
and nothing else on that line). My sig uses this feature.
