Ok, so this is what I've got and I'm looking to get the best sound quality with a little extra bass. I've currently got two kicker 07cvr124's and a kicker 11dx1000.1 pushing them. My dilemma is the amp is rated @ 1k watts rms @ 2 ohms and I think 550 watts @ 4 ohms. Now with the speakers @ 400 watts a piece, if I use only one coil I can wire them down to 2 ohm, and if I use both coils wired in series, then I'm at a final 4 impedance. Should I use all the coils at a final 4 or use just two for a 2 ohm final to get the best sound?

You want to wire them for a 2ohm impedance.
That will maximize the output of the amp which your speakers can handle.
Wiring the speakers in parallel is better for sound quality as well. When you wire the voice coils in series that reduces the damping factor of the amp. The higher the damping factor the better the amplifier will start and stop the woofer.
DVC woofers are useful since you could use them with a stereo amp and the two channels will be mixed to mono in the woofer. If you don't have a subwoofer output that's handy.
