Earphone only plays through left ear on laptop but works on phone.

So I've checked most of the questions here and nothing seems to solve my problem. The sound comes out my laptop on both speaker(left and right) but only comes out of left earphone. I've tried both two striped jack(from Audiotechnica) and three striped jack(from Nokia) and they both work fine on phone but they don't on laptop. I also believe that my drivers are up to date and I've balanced the channels using Realtek HD Audio Manager but no luck. I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem but when i use the speaker one side of them seems to be not clear, the sound is distorted.I'm using Acer E5-571G-57CS and my phone is Philips V387.

I guess that's the problem with your laptop port,have been through that situation.

Typical of a faulty audio socket on the laptop. Is it under warranty?

try going to open realtek right click at the analog plug and click connector retasking check the mic and ok then right click the analog plug again and click connector retasking and click headphone/headset works for me.
