Easiest way to share large number of files

Hey guys,

I need a quite large number of files from another person and since he's doing me a favour, I would like to make it as easy as possible for him to share them.
Now, there are way too many files to attach to an email (and a zip archive is too big) and he's too far away for any physical transfer (dvd, thumbdrive...). I tried sharing a folder in my Dropbox or Google Drive but to upload the files, he would have to sign up.

Do you know of any service that doesn't require registration and makes it as easy as possible for the other person?

Register a gmail/hotmail account, and open a DropBox for that account. Provide your friends with email/password for that Dropbox so he can upload files in "his" behalf.
