Easy steps to overclock?

So I am confused really with overclocking and need someone to explain simply about it with steps.
I want to overclock my GTX 860M 4GB. to get atleast 25%+ performance. or atleast 10%+. however, I don't know anything, like what program to use, what to do, and also, how can I know that my card got overclocked after it's done?

That is a laptop GPU. You may not have the thermal overhead to overclock anything like 25% (Or even 10%)

I would use something like MSI's Afterburner and research it very carefully before I did anything.

First check on the internet that what you plan to do is safe or even possible for your laptop.

I just did overclock it using MSI, the highest tempreture i got was 60C

Nvm I disabled the clock, it didn't do much.
