Element tv lost all sound.

I had my sound bar hooked to my tv through the headphone plug. I turned it on one day and it had no sound. I have unhooked everything, I am just running the standard digital antenna nothing else is hooked up and there is still no sound at all. Any ideas?

Might be the soundbar that's gone south - - try soundbar on something else or try headphones or a different speaker on Elements TV.

If headphones/different speaker work okay on Elements TV then it means the soundbar is faulty so you need to buy another one.

Testing stuff yourself using methods described above is just basic stuff, not rocket science.

Ideally you could/should have done that before posting.

I did all the basic things and the sound bar works just fine on everything else. Duh! Not an idiot. There is no sound coming from tv or anything else I connect to it. My question was, " any ideas how to fix" not test. Thanks for the rude response. I will be sure to spread the word about the Einstein's here.
