email notifications ???

How do I turn OFF email notifications on my Galaxy s6, while still allowing for text notifications?
I want to know when I get a text, but having it bing every time I get an email is making me crazy!

What email app are you using? You should be able to disable notifications on an app by app basis, either through the app's settings or through the system notification settings.
