Emerson TV Model BLC320EM9 won't power on.

So my TV won't turn on like the title says. It has the red standby light on and when you hit power it blinks green and sounds like it's trying to power on and then dies. Anybody know the problem?

you can try to unplug it for about an hour if it doesn't help I would suspect the power board is bad which is common with those tvs

It's been unplugged for about 6 months haha. I guess it would be easier and almost cheaper to just buy a new one ya think?

they are cheap throw away tvs be easier to get a new one. You might get lucky if your good at soldering you can open up the back and look for blown capacitors.
