What would be a really good antivirus choice?
I am coming to the end of a subscription with AVG and i am wondering which is regarded as the top choice as a replacement .
I assume that mcafee and avast are still poor (or are they?)
Also, can only one antivirus be used or can two be used together as cover for what the other may miss?

If you want a free AV I personally prefer Microsoft Security Essentials, it is free for XP/Vista/7 and is integrated into 8/8.1 and will probably also be integrated into 10. It is light weight and so long as you don't click ok to install junkware it does a decent job. I also like to compliment it with Malwarebytes Free and sometimes Super AntiSpyware, because nothing seems to find them all.
