Solved! Error Message on Samsung Flatscreen TV.

Hi All,

I got a Samsung flat screen tv and LG dvd player.
I get the error message on my tv screen when I turn on my dvd player and tv on and try to play a memory stick plugged into my dvd player on my tv, I can't even play
DVD disk in my dvd on my tv. I can only play memory on my actual tv.

(1) Check the cable connection and the settings of your source device
(2) Press source on your remote control to select the connected source device.

I have changed the HDMI cable and it still doesn't work and the source is HDM-2 which I choose, tried other sources and still doesnt work.

Please help?

DVD player may be faulty - - try it on another TV to check.

Thank You Philip for your help. I will test my DVD player if it is not the DVD player, I will try to reset my flat screen t.v back to factory settings and see if it works.

You were right the DVD player is faulty. The port for the HDMI cable is faulty.
