Solved! everything was working fine..then STATIC OUT OF NO WHERE

i have this new sembrandt SB750 soundbar and tried to connect it to my laptop. after some recordings, i noticed the faint static noise coming off of my speakers.

i don't know if the speakers were already giving off static noise when i first used it, i just noticed it right after removing the microphone from the laptop.

the static is also there even if nothing is playing,it's just there.

Its quite possibly you are just getting amplified white noise because the volume on the soundbar is set high and there is nothing to amplify hence you are getting the noise.

nahh,even below average volume,the static is still there

Look at how everything is connected. May be a ground loop -
