I have an old Coby Tablet MID-8024. I can't get any WiFi on it.
I can connect to whatever WiFi Access point I want. I've tried mine, I've tried other local hotspots and can always get a connection.
When I look at the connection details it always tells me that the Signal Strength is "Excellent" and then it says the "Link Speed: -1 Mbps" My other phones and Tablets seem to connect to my router with a link speed of 65mbps. After some searching I decided that perhaps it was an issue with the security on the access point but I created a guest network with NO security and still have the same issue. I have also tried a Factory Reset and two different ROMS with no change.
