Expert Advice for Dell 5548 I7 5th Generation With 4Gb R7 Readon

I'm planning to buy this new dell 5th Generation Laptop. Its has these specification
5th Generation Intel Core i7-5500U Processor (2 Cores - 4 Threads)
2.4 GHz Turbo Boost 3.0 (4 MB Cache, Broadwell)
8GB of Ram DDR3L
1 TeraByte Hard Disk
Intel HD 5500 + 4 GB ATI Radeon R7 M270 GC

I'm recently using dell 5537 laptop. It is good but not enough for me bcoz sometime I want to play modern games Like NFS Rivals, Watch Dog, Gta 5 Etc My old laptop can't play all these games but good for working in adobe application like Photoshop, Illustrator Etc.

I want to know that the Dell above new Laptop can have good specs for playing games with ultra settings and also its good for adobe application or Not?
Any Expert Advice ?

M270 is middle of road GPU. You are not going to play much of anything on ultra settings, espically not Watch Dog, GTA V, etc.

As far as adobe the CPU will handle it well, but adobe works best with NVIDIA gpu as adobe software is programed to utilize cuda cores.

You should be looking for laptop with at least a GTX-960M GPU. The Lenovo Y50 are pretty good.

I'm from Lahore, Pakistan. My budget is Rs.80,000 to Rs 90,000. I want a laptop that can play watch dog, gta etc games on ultra setting and also that laptop can well for adobe application if Dell 5548 is not enough for this which is the best for me. Reply Plz

Lenovo Y50 has pretty good specs but I have no experience with lenovo brand and also this laptop is out of my budget. I'm looking between $800 to $900 price. Is there any other option for me with this budget and Dell brand laptop is also plus point for me. Reply Plz

You should check which have the features/connection you want to have, battery life, etc because I only check gaming performance.

If you want to search for other motherboards, you should search for one with GT 750M, GT 840M, R7 M270 or a better GPU.

Hi Friend
I really appreciate your time that you spend for me I like the N7548 Dell model I'll check it specifications also compare the gpu of R7 M270 with nvidia 840m I found that the nvidia have good gpu but R7 is not too bad its close to 840m nvidia & I think that If N7548 laptop gpu is good then why not I buy Dell 5548. It also have save R7 270 4GB video card. I'm not a big fan of games I just play the game sometime when I'm free from my work. I understand I can't play modern games like watch dog with ultra setting on Dell 5548. I just want to know Is that possible to play this game with medium or high setting on Dell 5548 Laptop. If yes then I think It also run my adobe application well of course.

Sorry, I forgot to mention adobe applications. I dont know how well the i7-5500U can run them but it's almost a certitude that the i7-4710MQ (found in the HP ENVY 17-J185NA) will run them better.

The i7-5500U have only 2 cores, and its a little slower, so I would not go with the Dell 5548 for professional work. The big advantage so far of broadwell over haswell cpus is power consumption.
