Experts please advice

Hello everyone
I'm looking to purchase a notebook or a laptop to perform few basic activities like to prepare presentations on MS OFFICE, watch movies, listen to music and browse the internet. Please help me choose a processor and variant of that. Since i'm fixed on a budget of INR 20,000 ( $ 400) I'm sure i cant afford Intel i3 or such. Help me choose a better one among AMD Dual Core ,Intel atom, Intel Atom Dual Core,,Intel Celeron Dual Core,Intel Celeron Dual Core(2nd Gen),Intel Dual Core or any such. I just need a good battery life and decent keyboard and touch bad. I will have to use it with windows 7 or windows XP.

Well stay away from the Atom processors, they suck badly. I think a AMD apu or intel pentium cpu would be your best bet.

any of the new intel g cpu and there onboard video will be fine for word and web and videos. the amd laptops for the same money going to have better video on them.(build in amd gpu). look to see what brand has local service center in your country.
if the laptop breaks you dont want to wait weeks for it to be repaired.

Intel Celeron Dual Core,Intel Celeron Dual Core(2nd Gen) are they placed higher than atom or even smaller? Please pardon my ignorance.
