Exporting - Picasa2

I want to put my edited images on a CD (Drive e).

When I click on Export, a box comes up and asks me which folder. My CD
is blank (was I supposed to create a folder beforehand?). I tried
typing e and a colon into the box but it only the E shows, not the
colon.

What happens is that Picasa exports my images into "My documents" on
the c drive, into a new folder called e.

How can I get them on the E drive, and will the images be edited, or
the original images? I submitted this question to Picasa about two
weeks ago, and they still haven't had time to reply. Hope this forum
is quicker.

Thanks

In Picasa2 just click on the backup button (left of the find box)
and follow the directions. You don't need to export the pictures
first. The next time you want to archive pictures it will bring up
a list of the new ones and any others you may have edited.

If you do want to export the pictures first you need to write them
to the hard drive, as you did, and then send that newly created
directory to your CD writer as you would for any other CD writing
task.
