External DAC for my powered speakers

Im using a Jamo DS7 2.1 system for my PC. Currently Im using the onboard soundcard and its a budget motherboard, I'm thinking about buying the Grace SDAC on Massdrop. Can I connect it to my speaker? Will there be any noticeable difference in sound quality?

If you are using high quality files I would say that you should hear more detail, dynamic range, and maybe a bit cleaner sound. You might also consider the Schiit.

I'd get the Grace SDAC over the Fulla which is an entry level headphone amp and DAC combined. Schiit DACs don't tend to measure very well even on the high end. The Grace SDAC or a Topping D10 which is also available from Massdrop right now.
