External Display

Hello
Is there a possibility for my laptop to take any damage if i should connect a external display and use that instead of my laptop display?
The current screen is running 1920x1080, and i would love to use a 24 external lcd display and use and external keyboard / mouse aswell.
Basicly use my laptop as a stationary laptop when home, well thats if its not gonna fry my laptop, heh

Also will i get any loss on the grafics? i can easly run bf3 on max settings with 1920x1080 i should be able to do this smooth with a 24 external display aswell?

No damage what so ever. The hdmi or display port on your laptop is meant to be used. If the resolution of the external screen is the same as the laptop display, I don't think there will be a performance hit.
