external speakers on Samsung TV are not working

I got external speakers with no power plug. I try to connect L and R (each mono jack) to my smart TV (recently purchased 4k) and I set up external speakers in audio menu and they are not working. Whats wrong with Samsung, because I see a lot of issues on the Internet regarding that problem. Why my Speakers are not working???

TVs are not made to drive non-powered speakers, get an actual home theater setup or a soundbar.

As above plus most TVs don't have analog audio outputs anymore so you may have connected the speakers to an input. RCA jacks are used for inputs and output but they are not interchangeable in function. Cheaper audio systems also use RCA jacks for speaker connections because they are cheap and take up little space on the back panel. The wire used for speakers should be different than the wire used for audio line level and video connections.
