I think that such app is already developed and is being used to track all Mark Zuckerberg Facebook friends. He has over a billion of them.

What I don't understand of people is why such a need to have facebook on the move?

The app itself would track a member's location, which will run in the background, even when it hasn't been recently opened. It'll then share that location with friends who are at a nearby location.

This is the most scary part. It'll track you and broadcast where have you been even when you don't want it... time to take my Nokia 5125 out of the box I think

Now I can finally keep tabs on all my exes from one convenient location so I can accidentally bump into them showing off my new date.
