Factory restore time

I am trying to do a factory restore process and the "restoring system" part went really quick and smooth. took about 10 mins. the Udating System chugged along nicely but a lot slower. Now it is on 99% and seems to be stuck (been on 99 for nearly half an hour). the whole process has taken 1 hour and 24 mins. Is this normal or do I have a bigger problem???

Hi,

Are you doing the factory reset using the built in image or was it using a factory reset disc? If it would still be stuck at the same screen for a long time I would suggest redoing the factory reset but this time use a factory reset disc because the problem may be the built in recovery image being corrupted already. If your laptop didn't come with a factory reset disc, you can always order them from the manufacturer but given that the laptop is still not too old.
