Faint periodic screeching sound from Hard Disk in My Laptop

My laptop makes a faint screeching sound when a high resource program runs, and its not too often. It comes once in a day or maybe not. Should I be worried?

Run a disk check, many laptops have a built in diagnostic program in the BIOS or form the laptop vendor support side. Or try a program like HDTune.
