Fairly Cheap Laptop for Games

I'm looking for a laptop that is mostly going to be used for college work, but I want one that can play some games. Mainly, I'd want to play GameCube games through an emulator. What are some good options under, say $1000? In order from most important to least are a 1080P screen, and hopefully relatively portable. That's basically it.

i will prefer any asus laptop rather than other... it provides ice cooling that allow your laptop to run heavy application safety ( such as a game)... if your laptop getting overheat, then it appears your laptop lifetime is getting short...
