Far cry primal

Hi, I am just wondering if I am buying far cry primal pc off the disc will I have to download anything like fallout 4? Its just a real pain having to buy the disc and then download. Are all games going to need to download now? Thanks

Day 1 patches seem to be the norm these days.
I was pissed when GTA V needed a massive day 1 patch.

Wouldn't recommend buying retail. As it has been said, they might just give you a download or there might be a massive day 1 patch. Even PC only studios are doing this.

Might aswell plan for it, it is a ubisoft game afterall.

Do you have to download the day 1 patch? I am not really worried about that but when its like fallout 4 and you get one disc and have to download the rest it is pretty useless. Hopefully it is like far cry 4 where the whole game is on the discs.
