Fast Laptop Under $900

Hello!

I'm looking to get a new laptop for under $900. I'm looking for:

15 - 15.9" screen at 1080p
8th generation i5 or i7 CPU
1050Ti GPU
SSD

I found a couple laptops but wasn't sure if I could get a better one for a similar price.

The Dell G3 3579 has an M.2 2280 slot and supports NVMe 1.1. It also has one 2.5" HDD bay. So, you could install two SSD. Most likely the M.2 slot is occupied by the 8GB Cache.

I got my EVGA sc15 on sale for 999, meets all your requirements if you can get it on sale. Has a i7 7700hq, gtx 1060 6gb, 16gb ram, 1tb hdd, and a 512gb NVMe SSD. The screen is also 15" 120 hz 1080p. If that's too far out of your price range then the Dell Inspiron series is a good value, Acer nitro laptops as well.

The first laptop you linked can have it's hdd replaced with a SSD, checked on crucial.com.

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately the EVGA laptop is selling for $1,400, but it looks really good. The GS 3579 looks to be the cheapest with the best components. Is the 8GB cache in it taken out if I remove the existing HDD? Also, if there's anything a little lighter, that'd be nice, but not necessary.

On Dells website, they list the laptop as supporting up to 2 ssds, one 2.5" SSD replacing the hdd and a slot for a NVMe drive. You could potentially just keep the hdd for storage and install an m.2 ssd for OS.
Too bad you can't find that sc15 on sale, when I saw it on sale it was a total impulse buy, lol.
